Fr. Michael Caruso, S.J., is an Associate Professor of Education at Loyola Marymount University where he has taught in the Catholic School Leadership Program and other programs. He has written about organizational excellence and particularly what schools can learn from the business world with a special emphasis on the Walt Disney Company. Stay with us Lord: Prayers and Reflections for Educators was published by NCEA in 2005. His forthcoming book, When Sisters Said Farewell: the Transition of Leadership in Catholic Elementary Schools, tells the story of the some of the sisters who were the last members of their communities to serve in schools.

Fr. Caruso holds degrees in theology from Conception Seminary College and St. Mary of the Lake University. He has studied educational leadership at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and completed a doctorate at the University of San Francisco.
