Spiritual Director
Fr. Bob has been on staff at The Jesuit Retreat Center for more than
20 years. In addition to leading the 36-day Spiritual Exercises program
each summer, Fr. Bob has given many weekend retreats, often focusing
on the subjects of the books he has authored and with the liturgical
music he has composed and recorded. Central to his publishings and retreat
work are the Eucharist and the spirituality of daily life.
Fr. Bob is a licensed counselor and director/founder of the Jesuit Institute for Family Life, a marriage, family and child counseling center on The Jesuit Retreat Center campus. Fr. Bob is responsible for having started nearly 30 such centers in locales from San Diego to Portland.
